Firstly, a loop thread and clamp are used to apply aluminum screws to the head which are evenly distributed accordingly. The weave is then sewed onto the beads and tied at the ends. Our weft application method is taught in depth on our education courses and weaves should only be applied by trained professionals. IMPORTANT REMINDER: To ensure the longevity and quality of your extensions, please remember to securely sew the corners of the machine wefts after cutting them. This helps prevent shedding and keeps your wefts in the best possible condition. We recommend this step as a standard part of your application process. We recommend a tighten every 6 weeks. Old screws are removed and the section is split. More hair is added to the section and a fresh screw is reapplied close to the scalp. The process is repeated for each section of the weft. After a further 6 weeks a full removal and reapplication of the weft should be carried out using the same original application method.How long do weft hair extensions last?
Our Spectrum One weaves can last up to nine months if not longer with the correct aftercare. We've had many clients have their Spectrum Weaves last up to two years or longer!
