Halloween Hair - Spooky Inspiration
Not long left now until what is fast becoming one of the UK’s most popular holidays! Yes, we're talking about Halloween. Gone are the days when it was seen as an ‘American thing’ or a children’s holiday – the grown ups want in on the fun! So, we’re sure you already have your outfit or costume sorted for the night, but what about hair?? We will be the first to admit…we don’t actually want scary hair. Call it vanity, but you still want to look kinda cute in your costume, right?! That’s why we’ve put together some super spooky hair ideas to inspire you. Most of these looks are easy to achieve and adding in some of our hair extensions would really help give your look a boost!
A classic Halloween go-to, big messy hair is where it’s at! Whether its backcombed and let loose, or pinned up, this look will definitely benefit from adding in some of our real human hair extensions. It’s all about volume after all. We can see this big bouncy look working with a variety of outfits – from Wonder Woman to a zombie! If you don’t plan on wearing a special costume for Halloween, you can still give a nod to your darker side with wild hair and dramatic eye makeup. Think edgy and rock chick!
For you dark haired girls, why not use what you already have and go for a dark and sultry look. We are thinking Morticia Adams and her iconic black tresses, or maybe a Sugar Skull look with silky dark waves. Again, if you don’t want to commit to a full on costume - channel a classic gothic look. We are thinking of dark haired beauties like Kat Von D or Dita Von Teese. Remember to keep it glossy and sleek for haunting look!
One of the biggest beauty trends of 2017 has been all things mermaid. We can see this carrying over into Halloween and inspiring plenty of mer-babes. Get a full blown mermaid look with super long hair extensions or for something even more fun – pastel coloured clip in hair extensions. Perfect if you don’t fancy colouring your own hair! Fanciful hair colours and fluffy volume would suit a few other looks. How about a fairy or even a unicorn (another trend that refuses to go away this year!). Remember to keep it cute and curly for a fantasy look.
