At the young age of just 15, our very own Spectrum One Hair Creative Director, Katy, embarked on her hairdressing adventure. A few (we won’t say how many) years and a lot of hard work later, she’s now a fully trained Hair Extension Specialist, Master Colour Expert for Wella, a Brand Educator for Sebastian and a bridal expert. That’s a lot to get through in one go, isn’t it?
Katy’s an award winning hairdresser with accolades that span from being a finalist for ‘Young Hairdresser Of The Year’ to the winner of ‘Crew Face Off’. She’s spread her wings and travelled around the world to work for big-name brands such as Boohoo.com and has even had her work regularly published in Heat, Closer and OK Magazine. Her hair has even appeared next to the drama news of Hollywood. If that isn’t success, what is?
Being a budding entrepreneur, Katy saw a gap in the market of hair extensions after years of working with substandard hair; the industry was missing an elite extension, so Katy set to creating it. Spectrum One Hair Extensions were born and a new era of quality, real human hair extensions was created.
Spectrum One Hair has been sourced from the most trusted suppliers around the globe who have over twenty years of experience in hair extension production. Basically, what we’re trying to say is that the hair we use is totally unbeatable. It’s all hand-picked, double-drawn and must pass rigorous quality control, which is probably why it’s the professionals pick and worn by celebrities. Oh, did we not mention that? Check out our celebrity gallery for proof!
Katy is also the – very – proud owner of the thriving 5* Spectrum One Hair Salon in Lancashire, England. The salon has gained much attention in the industry for its luxury status, talented team and incredible results. Its award-winning, having been selected for the Salon Design Award for the HJ British Hairdressing Business Awards, and was even listed in Professional Hairdressers Magazine as the 5th most beautiful salon in the country. Now, not every salon can boast that, can they?
